This week's Friday Night Video is a profile of top Japanese climber Sachi Amma. He first began climbing through competitions, becoming a two time back-to-back Lead World Cup Champion in 2012/13. However, he recognised this did not give him any peace or inner satisfaction. After realising this he then switched to climbing outdoors, repeating the world's hardest routes and eventually opening new ones.
The Life Of Sachi Amma is a documentary film about the world-class Japanese climber. The documentary tackles the deep and timeless question “Who am I?”, and shows how Sachi carved his path to be the man he is now.
