I had not thought up to this point, but they are all no longer with us and then I had second thoughts about submitting the photo - but I did. Please take it as a tribute to some of my best friends, all great guys.

One sympathises with your reservations... but you did right. It's a great photo; it captures their joy and it celebrates their lives.

Thanks Mick. Thanks Brian. The photo was taken at Achnasheen on one of the many memorable trips we made to Northern Scotland in the early seventies.

Fab! I remember those Scotland trips. Especially being bundled into the back of dad's Bedford van for 12 hrs curled up under his climbing gear!
