Both, thanks for the advice.

I do have winter experience i.e. Artic circle winter just no crampon or ice axe. However I will head up after January.  Especially as going solo.

Hi Gthorn - you’ve posted a new thread accidentally rather than reply to the previous - absolutely not telling you what to do btw, we all make our own choices, but think always best if we make them with some info and knowledge.
